Luminous Lakes, Glorious Glens at the Titus Gallery

Luminous Lakes, Glorious Glens- A (NEW) exhibit of the work by Brian Keeler focuses on
the exquisite and poetic light of the Finger Lakes region of New York. This show opens on
First Friday, November 7th from 5 to 8 at the TItus Gallery. The gallery is located on the
Commons, (on the east side, near Aurora st) in downtown Ithaca. Brian will have copies of
his new book, Dramatic Color in the Landscape, available, and he will be autographing

Winter Solstice Open House- Pleiades North Gallery of Brian Keeler

Our third annual open house at the house and gallery here in Ithaca, NY. Come up to view
recent works celebrating the light of Winter on the landscapes of the northeast, juxtaposed
with images of sunny Italy (plein air works) from this year's trip and other years as well.
Saturday, come for some music too, as Sunnyside Combo and friends will be playing
vintages swing. So bring your dance shoes, voice and instrument and join the fun.
Saturday from 1 to 5 and Sunday the same hours. Please rsvp, bkeeler@epix.net.
We're located at 422 Chestnut St, which is on West Hill near the Lehman School. So park in
the school lot and walk up our drive.

Plein Air France and Italy

"Plein Air France and Italy" is a new show of the paintings done in open air by Brian Keeler
and Simonne Roy. The exhibit will be at the Packwood House Museum in beautiful
downtown Lewisburg, PA from November 1 to 15. Please join the artists for their opening
reception on Saturday, November 1 from 5 to 8. Special cuisine and wines of the areas of
France and Italy that the artists painted in will be served. The show coincides with
Lewisburg’s annual "Stroll Through the Arts" on November 7, a very popular event
sponsored

called, The Topography of Light. The opening reception of First Friday, August 1, from 5-8
will also feature a book signing for Brian Keeler's newly published book, "Dramatic Color in
the Landscape." This art instruction book, is published by North Light Books and features
dozens of paintings plus in-depth text about the creative process and inspirations for the

Book Signing & Slide Presentation
August 4, 2014 - August 4, 2014
Brian Keeler will host a book signing at the Wyalusing Public Library for his new book,
Dramatic Color in the landscape, recently published by North Light Books. The event will
happen on Monday evening, August 4 at 7:00 pm and is open to the public free of charge.
Brian will give a short slide show and discuss his work as well as sign books. He will also
have
books about his father's art, William Keeler, that he wrote and published in 2004 to
document the father and son retrospective show at the Everhart Museum in Scranton, PA.
The Library
is located on Church Street in Wyalusing.

Brian Keeler's new book, Dramatic Color in the Landscape, recently published by North Light Books will go on sale in the artist's hometown with two book signing events.
At Grovedale Winery from 5 to 7 on Saturday followed by the artist's swing combo, Sunnyside playing from 7-10.$5 admission.
At the artist's studio, an open house on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 each day.

Art Sojourn- 2014

Pennellate d'Italia- Brush Strokes of Italy- An art sojourn for painters and others
who want to immerse in a figure and landscape painting course in beautiful Italy.
The next art Sojourn is planned for 2014 between May 17 and June 1. Starting in
Pisa and Luca for a weekend before heading to the little Tuscan hill town of Barga
for a week of figure and landscape painting. We'll go to Vernazza on the Cinque
Terre for picturesque views of the seascape. Then on to Florence for a weekend
before arriving in beautiful Umbria near Todi. The trip concludes with a weekend in
Rome. During the first two weeks, we'll make stops in Orvieto, Urbino, Prato,
Spoleto and Todi to visit museums, paint and enjoy the cuisine. Free brochure
