Portrait Painting Workshop- with Brian Keeler

Brian Keeler will present an alla prima (one-sitting) portrait painting workshop at the North
Star Fine Art in Ithaca, NY on April 12 and 13. The workshop commences on Friday night,
April 12 the with a demo of the paitning processs starting at 6 pm. Keeler will paint a portrait
in oil using a model. Then the class will begin
the following morning- Saturday the 13th. It will go from 10 to 4. Advance registration is
required. The workshop fee is $100. If attending the the demo on Friday only- the fee is $20.

The Allegany Arts Council is excited to announce a pop-up collaboration with Ferleman &
Company Art Gallery to feature the work of Ithaca, New York-based painter, Brian Keeler. The
special exhibit will be on display from January 6-27, 2024, with a Public Opening to take
place Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 6:00PM-8:00PM.
Portrait Demonstration-Saturday-Jan 13- 1 to 3 pm- Brian will demonstrate the process of
the alla prima (one sitting ) oil portrait from a live model.
